The facility at Tada can process plates of thickness ranging from 3 mm to 200 mm and width up to 5,000 mm of various specifications, strength and hardness to manufacture complex shapes and sizes.
This unit can also fabricate ready-to-assemble parts.

The service centre is equipped with advanced welding equipment, established welding procedures, certified welders, 'best-in-industry' material handling equipment, quality control systems ensuring zero defect assemblies, on time and every time.
The service centre is also equipped with movable 3D co-ordinate measuring machine for inspection of templates and components, which need high level of quality requirements.
Services provided by the unit include capabilities to source material from domestic and foreign mills, capacity to hold appropriate inventory, capability to produce parts as per exacting standards and specifications, Just-in time (JIT) and Just-in Sequence (JIS) supplies, excellent quality systems, trained and skilled manpower along with trading of Steel Plates.
These attributes make TSDPL the preferred partner for the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). TSDPL has been the preferred supplier of First Operation Parts (FOP) for Caterpillar. The unit has also been supplying fabricated components to Kobelco, Danieli and L&T Ship Building. Complex fabricated Chassis are also supplied to Terex.
