World-class Slitting and Cut to Length Lines

The Kalinganagar plant is located at around 120 Km distance from the temple city of Bhubaneswar inside Tata Steel Kalinganagar unit. The plant has one of the most advanced lines in India.

Catering primarily to the Pre Engineering Building (PEB), Lifting & Excavation (L&E) segment Customers, the plant is one of its type in the industry, providing dead flatness material as per the stringent requirements of this segment, which differentiates it from its competitors.

The high precision Cut To length Line is capable of processing steel coils of up to 25 mm thickness and also to have edge trimming facility up to 25 mm thickness. The Slitting and Cut to length lines are one of the widest lines operational in India in its class.

The major USP of the plant is that its lines are capable of processing High Tensile Steel of UTS up to 1100 Mpa.

This plant caters to some of the leading Customers of L&E and PEB segment such as JCB India Ltd, JCB UK, Pennar Engineered Building Systems, Zamil Steel Buildings India Pvt. Ltd., Kirby Building Systems India, Everest Industries Ltd., Interarch Building Products (P) Ltd. and its Tier 1 vendors.

Apart from the above, this plant caters to prominent Auto Segment customers such as Brakes India (P) Ltd., Wheels India Ltd., Kalyani Maxion Wheels Pvt. Ltd. and Ashok Leyland among others.
