Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL) operates one of its most advanced processing facilities at Kalinganagar, located around 120 km from the temple city of Bhubaneswar within the Tata Steel Kalinganagar complex. The unit houses both Hot Rolled (HR) and Cold Rolled (CR) processing units, equipped with cutting-edge technologies and automation to deliver high-quality, precision-processed steel for diverse industry segments.

Hot Rolled Processing Facility

TSDPL Kalinganagar is home to India's first High Tensile Steel Processing facility, catering to customers across the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB), Lifting & Excavation (L&E), and Automobile segments.

The major USP of the plant is that its lines are capable of processing Ultra-High Strength Steels with UTS up to 1300 MPa.

The newly commissioned Cold Rolled (CR) processing unit at Kalinganagar is designed to deliver products with superior precision, consistency, and surface quality. Built with world-class automation and advanced technologies, the facility can process Ultra-High Strength Steels with UTS up to 1300 MPa.
